Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.

It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.

You're a 90's kid if:

U remember watching Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain , and Two Stupid Dogs.

You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!

You just cant resist finishing this... "Iiiiiiin west philladelphia born and raised..."

You remember TGIF on ABC. Step by Step, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, and Boy Meets World.

You remember when, 2Pac and Selena died.

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.

You remember reading "Goosebumps"

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books.

You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence...

I was born at the start of the 1990's (1990) and remember doing some of the stuff meantioned, including watching the early morning cartoons, reading Goosebumps and taking the plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school, but i think i was a little too young to remember some of the other stuff, or they didn't have some of the things, such as phrases or televisions shows in Australia, but i do remeber watching Doug and Ren and Stimpy. I love being a child of the 1990's, but am enjoying the 2000's a lot more

You remember when it really was "Hammer Time" and those baggy pants were in. You remember Vanilla Ice as a white rapper and not some guy from the Surreal Life. You know who Mr. Belding and Miss Bliss are. You remember when Beavis and Butthead were allowed to say "Fire". You remember when the original NES was so popular, that it had its own magazine, cereal, a movie and a TV show about the two main characters from its most popular game. You remember Waynes World before it was a movie. I could go on, but I won't.

I need tee-pee for my bung hole. Oh and do you also remember The Max on MTV........ It was on before MTV started to suck.

I remember, I'm a 70's Child. The 90's produced a lot of people using numbers instead of words, like 2 instead of to, or l8r instead of later, as well as a lot of plenty of other slang and mutated "wordz" instead of "words" and plenty of other miss-spellings. The sad part is it's still going on, and way too many American children are WAY behind when it comes educational standards. I see it every day, even on yahoo answers, it's very upsetting and people just let it slide, that's the real shame.

"iiiiiin ... west Philadelphia born and raised. On the playground is where I spent most of my days...." Hell yeah I remember that! Do you remember Color Me Badd and El Debarge? I loved them. Psyche! I agree with you all these kids talking about the nineties like they know them. I say if you can't remember when Nirvana first came out, you can't talk about Niravana! And watching I love the 90's on VH1 doesn't count!
