Hi, you will need to contact a Bonds Specialist at a company like UBS , or SmithBarney etc. I don't know where you live but my husband is a Bonds Specialist at UBS Financial Services. If you write to me I will send you his 1-800 phone number and you can speak to him directly.

Show the bank the will and death certificate or any beneficiary documents.
The bank can also assist you with this issue.
