Good is relative to those working in the field. You happened to have inquired about two fields I have a great deal of experience in. I have enjoyed both jobs. Was strange that when I went from Market Intelligence to the Call Center, I was told I would lose visibility, and in fact I had never felt so rewarded by learning delivering awesome service, and analyzing the metrics for improvement opportunities.

Is there a future? For Marketing, without a question. For Call Centers the trend is trending more positive. In the U.S. for a period of time there was mass outsourcing . Today many companies are starting to insource again.

For Marketing or IT/Call Center Jobs, check out the http://helpingfriendscareernetwork.com/enews.html site. We have been studying the best companies, and award winning employers since 100101.

On the site we also have several yahoo groups. One proactive career coaching service for how to represent yourselves for the job you desire. One reactive I have to find a job now service.

Neither If you have a true selling desire/skill you will never have a job you go to everyday. I fired my boss two weeks after a friend showed me what he markets. Trust me call center jobs suck my relative worked for one that went under and his last pay check bounced! If you want more information on this shoot me an email at steve_norris52@hotmail.com

If your gonna sell something sell something that will make you thousands of dollars per sale, and a hot product. I sell real estate and close on average anywhere from 0-3 escrows per month at an average of 9-15k after my split with my broker. Learn as much as you can about the product, learn your scripts and learn to say them in your own way so it doesnt sound like a script, learn objection handling, this is where you close the sale.

Good luck
