Sap at Seimens for B.E Electronics graduate?

Hi Guys, I am 2005 passed Electronics grad from Mumbai Univ & I have 1 year work exp as C/C++ developer in Hyd.

The Question is that can I go for Siemens Sap Certification for 2.75 Lakhs with the electronics background i have. Everyone says that it is the best certification out there. So my question is that can some one from electronics background make a transition to Sap.

If the answer is yes, then Is Siemens cert the best to secure a job in Sap & also one more thing, I m not intrested in the initial low salery as again I would be starting as a fresher in Sap.

Can anyone help me in making the right decision. thanks in avance.

pugal you are right that there are many institutes in Hyd, but many of them are cheaters who do not guarantee you placements & On the financial point of view, I am ok with it.

Yes Roy you are right, but I shd make a start somewhere right, we have this many training institutes in hyd, that teach u the basics, but again there is no job, So what I thought is that once doing a certification at Seiments, I can gradually develop my concepts, One more thing I guess is that no company hires a fresher as a consultant. Dont be offended, I just wanted a straight advice from you considering the practical job scenario these days.

A Lot of people wonder whether they should follow a SAP training in order to start their SAP career as a consultant.

The key question is to get experienced in SAP and not if you have followed a SAP training.
When you follow a SAP training you get a lot of concepts about the structure of SAP and functions of SAP.
However a SAP training is not giving you any information about what you should do as a consultant. That is why it is better to get experienced on SAP as a key user before you start any SAP training on your own. If you already know the SAP system as a user, then what you need to know is the customizing of the functions. The SAP training will really help you in becoming a SAP consultant.
