I saw a guy in Canada on the Discovery Chanel and he owned a tank. Obviously it wasnt street legal. Also I dont mean to buy one with a working gun, because yes that would be illegal.

Oh ya, and I obviously wouldnt park it in my driveway. It would be on my farm (lots of open room to mess about).

Why is he a loony for wanting a tank? They're awesome. The ultimate toy. Ferrari, you're pretty negative. Lots of military memorabilia collectors have them. I know of a judge from Sudbury that owns two WWII ducks. The original poster didn't say he wanted one to take over the world dumb ***! If I could get my hands on one, preferably an APC, I think it would be fun to drive around in. It's not just about wanting it for destruction purposes you narrow minded cynic. It's the ultimate ATV. Grow up!

Tanks aren't street legal. But you can probably buy one in Iraqi.

If you mean army surplus tank, one that moves under its own power on tracks, maybe you could if you could find one, but you couldn't drive it because it would damage the roads. I doubt you could park it at your house, they would find some ordinance to prevent that. So, what would you do with it if you could find one?

Since the laws are different in the states than Canada, I think I would watch govt. auctions or do an oline search.

tanks are only for the military
and they are illegal in canada.

the canadian military barely has enough tanks as it is so they wouldn't sell it to civilians
