Your brother is a loins supporter, what is he a jockstrap?

Well the Tigers have made a huge improvement this year, maybe the Lions can too. But the harsh light of reality says otherwise. The Bears and Vikings both look better in the division. Looking at the early season schedule for the Lions, they do have a chance for a 4-3 start win "potential" wins over the Packers, St.Louis, Buffalo, and Jets. After that it looks like possible wins over the Niners and another shot at the Packers. I'm seeing maybe 6 wins. Playoffs, not likely.

I'd have to say that the Loins have a better chance than the Lions! Both have a better chance than the 49ers, though!

I support the loins. I like the loins!

Whether the Lions make it is another matter

A whole lot of loins are going to make the playoffs, but none of them are going to belong to Lions players.

The only way I can see the lions making it to the playoffs is if they have a formidable defense. needless to say the NFC north is quite possibly the weakest division in football. The shoe in this year is Chicago but they have a tendency to not be consistent. Simply put the battle will be with Chicago and Minnesota. Detroit has talent but not enough playoff talent. Yet seeing how things are in the NFC north who knows I give them a 30% chance of making.

If this is a BBQ cookoff, the loins have a chance to make the playoffs but it all depends on the sauce. The sauce is the most important thing!

The "Loins" have the same chance as the "Lions"... slim to none. They have some talent, but really should be concentrating on rebuilding instead of trying to make it their year. Too much turmoil and not enough talent.

The only thing that gives the Lions a chance is that the rest of their division is pretty much as crappy as they are. I think that the Bears probably have the best chance of the sorry group, but it really matter anyway, as they are all first-round playoff loss patsy's for a real team anyway.

It would help if they existed.

But seriously, the Lions have such a small chance, because they simply aren't a good team. Even though they are in a pretty bad division, they have a mediocre quarterback, a running back who has yet to hit his prime, decent receivers, and a horrible defense.

Well, they do play in the NFC North. I see both wild card teams coming from the NFC East, so they will have to win the division. If the Bears offense flounders and the Vikings take another boat trip... then maybe. But not very likely. Another 3rd plave finish.

Bears
Vikings
Lions
Packers
