Get a big paper bag and put the ferns in them. Pour a lot of salt in the bag. Shake shake shake. Remove ferns. That should do it.

Three Rivers beat me to it, but that's the way you clean all your artificial plants. Put them in a garbage bag with salt and shake 'em up. When the salt gets too dirty, change it.
It works like a charm, I swear!

Stick them in the shower and rinse them well with warm water, this should get rid of any insects that are hiding in them..this is how I clean all of my artifical house plants
