I wonder where KIT-KAT got her information since this requirement varies greatly by both university and program!

I do know that most masters programs at The Ohio State University require a 3.6 or higher to enter.

Personally, I've spoken with advisors who say this GPA is flexible based on past academic achievements, recommendations and your potential.

The best route is to find a program and school you like, get your transcripts and go see an advisor before you apply. You have one shot, make it your best.

To graduate, you must complete 51 units with a grade point average of at least 3.0. This includes completing all core courses with a C- or above. All courses taken within the Haas School and used for your MBA candidacy must be taken for a letter grade, except for courses offered only on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory (S/U) basis.

You may not take more than six units in departments outside of Haas without prior approval from the MBA Program Director. Only two units of Student-Initiated Courses (MBA294) will count toward your MBA degree.

Typically, you will take 13 units in each of your first three semesters and 12 units in your final semester. In your first year, you may take elective courses in the place of any core courses that you waive.

You must enroll for at least eight units each semester. You may not take more than 16 units in a semester unless you obtain permission from the MBA Program Director.

It depends on the university.

The one down the block from me requires a minimum of 3.75 or higher to be considered for any Master's program.

Most ask for 3.0 and up, but usually they have a review board that will conduct interviews and make exceptions

Read your school's course curriculum. It states the expectations in there.
