The genes for black hair and brown eyes are considered dominant. If enough intermingling occurs between races, you'd expect more and more people to have black hair and brown eyes.
This doesn't mean that a "black and white" couples will always have kids with darker color than the white parent. It means that the probability of having darker skinned babies is just higher.
The end result of all races coming together would probably be a light brown skin with light to dark brown eyes and black hair. Although occasionally, some recessive genes will display and you'll still be able to see green or blue eyes every so often.
So, to answer your question...Traits like hair and eye color are genetic mutations that have become distinct for populations that were isolated over a long period of time. However, since black hair and dark skin are the most dominant genetic traits, it's the most common among trait from a global perspective.
I remember reading that within a few generations from now, a true blond will be a rarity (just trivia).
Google "Mendelev" and take a look at how genetics work.
EDIT (since you asked): black hair and brown eyes are the most common because they were NOT isolated. Green, blue, grey eyes and lighter hair are the genetic mutations...not the other way around. At some point in history, a group of people who carried the genes for lighter eye and hair color settled in Europe where eventually the gene got passed around and became the norm. Evolutionary forces also payed a hand because those traits became desirable for their environment promoting the spread of the gene.
Elsewhere, the dominant genes remained the norm because there was little adaptation needed. So even if it's possible for say an arab to have blue eyes (with no immediate "admixture" as you called it), later descendants would still display the more common coloration. The gene is there but it remains dormant within the population.
Hard to explain all this on answers...talk to your biology teacher or contact me so we can IM Q&A if you want.

Why didn't you just ask, "How come people of other races all look the same?" Open your eyes. There is an amazing diversity among people of all races. You are wrong to think that Asians all have the same skin tone, hair colour, etc. The same with Hispanics and other races. You need an education badly.

I think that's funny that you mention it, because they call African American's "Black" but not all blacks are really black are they?
Perhaps that is because of mixing with white genes, but I think there probably are darker Africans and lighter Africans too.
They are kind of ranging from really dark brown, almost black, to a lighter greyish color. But it seems invariably that blacks have curly hair. I think this is because the region that Africans mainly came from is a smaller piece of land than say Europe, where the climate ranges from extreme cold to Mediterranean.

I think there are more important things to evaluate in this world. To compare races will conduce some people to initiate a debate on which race is better than other. Many civilizations, countries and generations suffered in the past for that. So I think that what its important is that each and every race in this world is beautiful, rich in details that make them unique. Every race of this planet has the same value and we all come from the same origins. So that’s what important. Peace for you!

Ahh..- There's a LOT more variety among Arabs, Asians & Blacks than you might imagine. Diversity is EVERYWHERE- it's just more subtle in some groups.

If you are talking about diversity just in terms of skin color, eyes color and hair color... that's kinda low. Asian culture are so diverse... there are hundreds and hundreds of language and dialect spoken there, and it doesn't end there.

It's all in the genes. Genes are the units of heredity in living organisms. They are encoded in the organism's genetic material (usually DNA or RNA), and control the physical development and behavior of the organism. During reproduction, the genetic material is passed on from the parent(s) to the offspring.

They tend to have a greater variety of names too. It seems like half of north india is Patel and over half of Vietnam is Tran. I've often wondered about this too!

to that brazilian chic.. well it can't be because they screwed other races... because the other races don't have those eye colors... DUH!
and i do not think asking the question is to say that other races are better.. unless you are like, " only races that have different eye colors are better.." it's just asking why..
