Try looking through the Sun with the goggles during the day!

Using a Sony Handi-cam, switch on the night vision during the day.
Having an extra source of IR light really helps.
You can vaguely see through most normal clothing.

You can try but you will ruin the goggles...I do believe however with older ones you could but not the newer ones

no. night vision goggles amplify light, so if you put them on during the day, it will temporarily blind you.

Mine don't. I've tried it because I heard that before. The right clothes they glow. others they are dark.
