There are many causes that people don't realize they would give there life for. Most people say they would give their lives just for thier families, but people play "hero" all the time. For example if you are walking down the street and you see a child in the street playing, then u realize a car is about to hit him/her...it's almost instant reaction to run into the street to try to save them, not knowing if you will get hit yourself. Or another example, if you see an accident and there are people inside the wreck, gas is leaking and the car can blow at any moment, the "hero " thing comes into play ....So to be willing to die for a cause, I believe a lot of poeple have it in them(NOT ALL PEOPLE, but enough) to sacrifice themselves for a cause.

I would say yes. I would be willing to sacrifice my life in order to protect those that I love. Soldiers do it every day - they put their lives on the line to protect our country.

If I was put in a situation where I had to put my life on the line to save a loved one, I believe I would.

The only cause I would sacrifice my life for is that of either one of my children, my grandchild, or my husband.

I never thought I would be capable of such a thing but now with my nephew quite ill, I would do anything just to get him well.
So yeah...I woud die for this cause--just to get my bubbly nephew back to his old self.
