do you call your friends that?
do you mind if your friends called you that?
do you call someone that when your mad?

i my self dont like the word at all. i dont call no one that. i tell my friends never to call me that. my dad called me that and i told him not to call me that either becuase i think that when someone calls someone else that its shows thier ignorant. wiether if its between to frends or to foes.

I find it so offensive. I hate that today's black youth have been brainwashed to believe that calling another "*****" is a show of respect! Our deceased civil rights leaders must be rolling over in their graves. We cannot blame this phenomenon on anyone but ourselves.

I understand the theory - that by taking back the word, you take the sting out of it - but i cannot think of an uglier word. Ultimately, even in jest, i don't think there is any reason to use this word as it continues to degrade, separate and devalue our young people. If i had a magic eraser, i would erase this word from the world today. I am white - but I wish i were African.

I agree and this is just a way of lowering ourselves. I can recall some years in the past that Richard Pryor, the comedian who used the word constantly, went on a trip to Africa. After that trip he vowed to never use that word again.

no i don't like being called ***** but i don't get mad if a black person uses it in a joking manner i don't call my friends that unless were joking i just hate when other races(non black) use it like its their word and it's a cool thing to say it's soo annoying i'm not a racists but i hate the way they abuse that word
