If you are in military, and you are stationed out of your state of legal residence, can you get a divorce from your legal residence state? If so how?

Depends on the state that you are in. You can process one on-line or do the paperwork yourself. You can also file in the State you are stationed in. Since you are in the military.

You have to put an add in the newspaper in the state and city you were married for I think 30 days and wait to see if your husband responds to it and if he doesnt then all you have to do is show the courts you did so. Then you will be able toget the divorce.

call a lawyer from back home and discuss it with him. the hard part is always money, so get an agreement as to the retainer fee and what value(services) you will receive for it. also inquire if you need to return home first to re-establish physical residency. hope this helped
