I was in one of my sisters homes.
I was recovering from OHS!
I had just awaked and I turned on the
TV to CNN. I was not fully awake but
what I saw made think I was watching
a movie.
I remember turning on the television
and seeing a plane crash into one of
the World Trade centers buildings.
I actually watched the second plane hit
the next tower.
It looked to me like a hot knife being
thrust into butter.
Sorry, but that is what it looked like
to me.
I immediately asked the Creator to
comfort the souls who just lost their
lives.
I spent the next several days watching
everything I could on the event.
Have fub but be safe.

I was working as a receptionist at a lab and xray department at Aurora Medical Group. A patient came in to have her blood drawn and she asked me if I've heard the news yet. I hadn't. SHe told me that a plane either flew into or dropped a bomb on one of the towers. I turned on my radio and listened all day. Patients and nurses were talking all day. I went to the surgery area around 9:15 (they have a TV in their waiting room.) and I saw the second plane go into the other tower. My heart sank. It seemed like a movie, I'm so use to seein movies with this violence in them. But this was happening in my country. Not many of us get much work done because when patients came in they'd rather talk about it instead of seeing the doctors.
I was in high school when the space shuttle exploded. They put a TV in the lunch room and we could stay in there or go to class. Many stayed in there.

We had just moved to a new city and my husband had started a new job on 9/11 and he called and asked if I had been watching the news and I told him no and he told me what was going on and I stayed glued to the set for the rest of the week...

Was at work in upper Manhattan, heard the endless throng of emergency sirens. Got a call from my wife about what had happened. I worked at a church and climbed up to it's bell tower to see it for myself. Saw the second plane it and it's explosion. Saw the first tower come down. In the hours that passed, I watched thousands of New Yorkers walking uptown covered in dust. Transportation out of the city to get back home was difficult. Realizing afterwards that our own gov't was involved has been even more difficult. Peace...

I was working on someones car, a new customer about 80 years old. The news was pouring in on the radio and tv, devestating stuff. I had to just pray for a moment and shed tears. The old man became one of my favorite customers after that, he had such simple words of insight that kept me going. Haven't seen him in a while though, I hope that after living as long as he has seeing all the crap that we have, that i'll be able to have as good of an attitude as him.

I was in my Social Studies class when my teacher recieved word. Actually, his brother works at the world trade centers, but thankfully he was off that day. He left the classroom very depressed, and when I left to go into my math class, my other teacher actually told us what happened. I was only in sixth grade to I didn't fully understand at the time...
