Actually, it's nothing like how it was on tv...you know how they always have to change from the real thing to what's publicized so that the shows will sell right?
Well, having lived with Tarzan, I can safely say that, on laundry day when the loin cloth was just a little bit shrunken, he did yell as he did on tv, yknow... ahhhhhahhhhhhahahahaahhhhhha or whatever
But on regular days, he'd pretty much did his mantras like
I am the maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
or
I am beautifullllllllllllll
or some such nonsense. :)

I have a clip of Johnny Weismuller's yell on my computer. I can send sit too you. Trivia history - Johnny Weismuller did his own yell, swung from real vines and did most of his own stunts. (swinging, dives and swimming) and got stung while swimming in ft lauderdale. He is in the swimming hall of fame there.
