Less government and more personal responsibility but then again this is a post 911 world. If anything goes wrong then everyone blames President Bush...example Hurricane Katrina.

It is always in our best interest to have less intrusion from government in our lives...however, to achieve that goal, personal reponsibility must make a comeback in the American way of life. The "I'm a victim" and the government will take care of all my problems mentallity must go away.

A more balanced combination would work better. I think people today need to start taking more responsibility, but then the government does need to step in when needed.

Who will enforce "personal responsibility?" You don't get more personal responsibility by wishing it were so.
