my 12 year old sister who i watch over is always complains about having bad headaches. i thought it was her needing glasses so she got them, but she still complains about having bad headaches also she has bad stomach pains. Im assuming theyre both related she gets the headahces more often than the stmach pain. She says her stomach pain burns and is always having to go to the restroom. i dont have the money YET to get health insurance so im seeking free advice. thanks

she has the headaches sparactly thru out the day but mainly the afternoon. Her stomach ache at night after meals. Our parents recently divorced and now im the gaurdian due to horrible parenting....im willing to do what i can thanks

When is she getting the headaches and stomachaces? Is she allergic to anything? Is she under a lot of emotional and/or physical stress right now? When did the headaches start?
Because she is considered a minor, she is covered by the Fed. Gov't. You should go to a free clinic. They are listed in the yellow pages in your phone book. Good luck.

I agree that your sister could be hurting due to stress or her cycle. My sister had cramps and stomache pain and would miss 3 days of school each month.
Her head aches, if due to stress, could be helped by a good massage of the neck and shoulders. A professional is best to use but if money is a problem then you or a friend can do the massage. Just remember not to massage the spine directly, run your fingers up and down directly beside the spine.
Also, massage very high up the neck and bottom part of the skull. It helps me.
If your sister does not get relief this way for the headaches or she does not start her cycle PLEASE take her to a Free Clinic!

the stomaches could be the start of her cylce. the headaches can be form stress .
Try using an ice pack . apply to back of the neck. Are the headaches located in the front or back of the head?
Give her some gatoraide. it works great for headaches, plus it will keep her hydated if she is having a upset stomach.

Hey free clinics are almost everywhere for minors. Go get it checked out. My younger cousin was having headaches and come to find out she had a brain tumor. Dont mean to scare u, but constant headaches are very serious the same for stomach aches

How is her eating? Does she eat a proper balanced diet, with grains, fruits, veggies and some protein? Lay-off the citruis right before bed. Maybe write down what she eats and the effects of those foods. Go to yahoo search and cue in
