OIL...petroleum product? If so, crude oil is the product of organic material that has been captured in pockets of the earth's crust and has had pressure exerted on it. Through a process that takes many many centuries, crude oil is formed. This product is then sought after by many companies (that make too much money) and can be further refined to produce many other products. All of these products are multi-chain Carbons, such as gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuels. Hope this helps.

what's oil ?
it seems pretty much a dam question to me but I am interested in answering it .
it is a liquid equivalent to the importance of water to us as it is required for engines and for human need also . It cannot be directly consumed by man but can be used to cook food the tastiest way .
