O.K. I KNOW THAT A WOMAN OVULATES 14 DAYS AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THEIR PERIODS, I USED AN OVULATION CALENDAR ENTERING MY LMPJUST TO SEE HOW MY CYCLE RUNS DUE TO IRREGULAR PERIODS. I ENTERED MY LAST LMP'S FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS AND FOUND OUT THAT I ACUTALLY OVULATE 13 DAYS AFTER MY CYCLE ENDS. IS THAT NORMAL?

Yes that is normal. Every person is different 14 days is average but that doesn't mean that it is right on for everyone.

Technically, a woman ovulates 12-14 days before the start of her next period. The 14 days after the start of a period only works with 28 day cycles because that is also 14 days before the start of the next period. By your description your cycle is a little shorter than average (Notice I said average not perfect or ideal), that's why you ovulate on day 13, but that's normal for you and is okay. My ovulation is much later than most, day 18 but thats what is normal for me. Every one is a little different. Just bd every other day for a week leading up to the day you ovulate and a few days later. (You know the whole sperm live longer than the egg thing). Babydust.

Its not an exact 14 days after the 1st day of the cycle for everyone. Everyone is different. If thats what the calendar said I would say thats normal. Have you tried the ovulation predictor kits? I would get them and I think there are a few in there... and then go by the dates the calendar says... try the test/kit the day before it says you will ovulate(12th day).. then the day of(13th day)... etc and see what the test says

you're fine...the 14 days is only and AVERAGE...and if you get your period every 28 days....I get mine every 30 days and I noticed I ovulate by the 16th day after....everyone is different...a good way to know when you're ovulating is when your discharge changes to that clear sticky clear stuff....and if that happens for 3 days...it could be anywhere between that time....you know what's good ....is those ovulating sticks at the drug store....they can be expensive....like you get 7 sticks for 20 bucks....but I'd try it for at least 2 months to see if it happens the same time.....so you'll have to guess so many days after your period when to start....because you only have 7 days of sticks to try...so if you are truly at day 13...start maybe on day 11 to see...and once it states you are ovulating you don't need to keep doing the stick for that month...because it is at that point you may get lucky in a 24 hour period...good luck
