my husband and I have been apart for 4 years now I think, he lives in another state, but the past couple of days his mail has been going to my parents house, and their mailing address has been changed since he left, what do you think is up with this,a fter all this time.

Its not bill collectors, its from a casino. he is a big time gambler, whice was one of the reasons we split up.

Several years after I got divorced, I bought my own home. The postmaster fowarded mail to my new home, with my x-husband's name on it. I found this odd. I had to go to the post office and fill out paperwork, to have the post office not forward mail to my address with that last name.
Did your x-husband ever use your parent's address for any reason? Have a bank account or anything??? According to what the post office clerks explained to me, mail can be fwd'ed to new addresses. SO, did your ex ever use your parent's old address????
If not, tell your parent's to write refused, return to sender, no such person at address on the envelope. Eventually the post office will stop sending his mail to them.

You've been apart for 4yrs not even sure where he actually lives, what's the hold up on the divorce? Does your parents know anything about his mail coming to there house? If it's just stuff from a casino maybe he is just using it because he doesn't want the casino to know his real address in case he reneges on a debt with them. Find your estranged hubby and ask him whats up. GL

Strange, I have been getting mail for my ex and we were divorced 9 years ago. He has never lived at this address or in this town. I wonder what is up with the post office?
