I have taken forteo injections for one year and gotten nothing.
Bought a Bowflex thought maybe exercise as I need it anyway.
I am 45 and need some help.

also use upto 1500 mg of calcium daily as well as 800 international units of vitamin d daily. you can try miacalcin nasal spray, fosamax as well, females can try evistat too. conjunction therapy may carry some more risk of side effects, discuss with your doctor, remember to quit forteo at 2 years

It depends what you mean by maintaining bone health and why you were taking the forteo injections. One way to maintain bone health is to ensure that your diet is rich in calcium products such as broccoli, greens, milk and dairy products and fish, especially salmon. As well, some orange juices have added calcium. You could also add a calcium supplement such as Caltrate, or take TUMS. You may also want to ensure that your diet contains enough iron and vitamin C, which you will need to build up your bone marrow and aid healing. Consult a nutritionist or your family doctor.

Are you taking Calcium and Magnesium supplements? They are available at pharmacies, Walmart, supermarkets, etc. You could also phone a doctor and get some further suggestions.
