Me and this gurl have been talking for a long time, and then suddenly stopped. Now a month later she sends me an e-mail... do I answer it?

Yes you should answer it and ask her what she has been up to this past month. Her answer will tell you if she hasn't been in contact for a good reason or not.
At least you would know, then you can decide from there whether or not to resume the friendship.

Did she give a reason why she had not emailed. She may have been away or sick. I once keept emailing a friend who didnt reply, she finally telephoned my to say that she had been replying. I finally discovered I had actually pressed the wrong button and put her on ignore, so her emails were going directly to the bin. What am trying to say is that she may have had a good reason and you are not likely to find out if you dont reply.

If you would like to re-kindle a possible relationship then I would say yes. If you don't then I would say answer the email and let her know that you aren't interested. Not answering email can sometimes lead to more personal communication like a phone call from her asking... Did you get my email I sent you?
