In the last chapter on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince it says"he (Harry) looked over and saw Ron holding Hermione and stroking her hair as she sobbed into his shoulder" she is obviously crying becouse of Dumbledore's death.

No, they are not dating....yet. Throughout the books, there has been various hints that Ron and Hermoine will get together in the end. So, in my opinion it has to end that way!

They are comforting each other. They have not really gotten together as boyfriend girlfriend but there are hints laying all over the place and its the most obvious thing in the world that they belong together, I think That's the way it should be and i hope it will be confirmed in the 7th and final book. No, they are not dating. Sorry.
