Talk to your high school guidance counselor. Using the internet is recommended with research you are inquiring about since universities generally change tuition frequently.

In-state colleges offer tuition to state residents much cheaper than those out of state. And generally community colleges have cheaper tuition then large universities.

Applying for grants and scholarships is the best way to go if you want a good education at a manageable price.

If you are a junior or senior in high school and you plan on going to college, your guidance counselor should be your new best friend! See him or her often and come prepared with questions!

Ask yourself 'what's nice' - do you want curriculum; do you want partying, do you want a nice campus to look at, do you want a short commute, in/out state? private colleges have high tuition but usually offer higher financial aid packages; i'd check that out. or you could go to a local college for 1-2 years and take general courses transferring in to a good college. believe me, college you do 'once' and i've never regretted paying for the tuition even if it took me 10 years...i got it back in salary!

Are there any "community colleges" (that is, two-year colleges) in your area? They tend to be relatively inexpensive. And then you can transfer to a four-year college if you want to afterwards. But your first two years will be relatively cheap.

Check out http://www.swosu.edu/

I went there. Science programs are excellent. Business is good. If your grades and test scores are good, they will try to help you.
