Speak about how & why you want to serve. Do not promise what you can not give. You can joke about it like " I would give you off every other Friday, but the Principal said no way". Do not get too serious as most 7th graders do not care that much, but do be sincere. Speak about what you know & it is easier than someone else's words, other than one quote. Look on quotationspage.com - you can look by subject.

The best way to write an original speech is to do just that - write it, yourself, in your own words. If you have nothing to say to the student body, odds are you shouldn't be running for the position.

Tell the kids that you'll work HARD to get them all out of school TWO WEEKS EARLY this year! It's about as honest as our real politicians, and a good lot of kids will probably believe you.
