Myself I like both equal. I would ask more if I were not penalized 5 points for doing it. But most of the time when I do, I want to confirm what I believe by seeing if that is the way most of the answers will come out. I answer questions Ihad not planned because after browsing the question the answers the asker is getting seem so far off based and rooted in personal peeves that I have to give the asker at least on shot at a logic based answer. Which do you like do do more and why do you like it?

Great responses. All seem sincere. Poetic, Howtoknow..., butterfly insightful. As well as Beautiful...., and Diva. And Ponti I have came agross questions that were not true(learned after the fact, or from the asker themselves)but still I believe there are reletive questions that beg to be asked.

I like asking questions and don't really mind losing 5 points in the process.. or make it 2 points since I always choose best answer for my questions and get the 3 points back. But the pleasure really in asking questions lies in being able to illicit responses from all types of answerers and to me, I just love it when I have my favorite answerers (such as yourself) answered my questions.

The problem with asking question is, sometimes, a good question is so hard to come by.. that, and the other revolting reasons.. sometimes make me restrain asking questions for fear that some shallow-minds who infiltrate this whole scheme might jump on and take the question to another plane.. that, and also the fact that there are people who give more emphasis on one's avatar rather than focus on the essence of the question.

More to the point, I came to appreciate that the right question is usually more important than the right answer to the wrong question.

Having said that, I still like asking questions just for the heck of it!!

I like answering better. I like real questions, though. I may have responded to a statement or two with a question mark at the end?

I seldom browse the answers before answering because I want to respond to the Asker. I fought the urge many times to defend an Asker plagued by unlawfully ridiculous answers.

Like many YAers, I can be brutally honest. I know I don't corner the market on being raw. Given the right set of circumstances, a kind-hearted person will bare teeth when provoked by a virtual bully. It's just too much energy for me to check a person. It wears me out! No lie!

It has taken me a while to come up with a question, but I like to answer more. Not because I think I know it all, but I want the person who took time out to ask a decent question, to get a decent answer.

Btw, good question! (Thumbs up!)

Like to answer more than ask, you are right about losing 5 points for asking. If I really want an answer or some opinions I will ask though.

I do occasionally have a question, but I mainly answer. I don't really care about points, but that would be cool if I got to level 3. Sometimes I learn from other people's answer, and sometimes I answer questions that are interesting.

I do like to ask more, and would do it more often if it weren't for the points as well. I like to because I like to try to see the different answers I get. I like to hear other people's experiences. Everyone has there own story. I just wish the rude people wouldn't leave such stupid or nasty comments. I mean seriously, they may have nothing to do with there time, but please don't waste mine.

answering, that are as recommended as i can lead them to. i come from a technology that looks for solutions in books, or ask qualified human beings i.e. docs that way i understand i'm going to wind up with the perfect answer.

I guess I like to ask question more than answer them. I haven't honestly answered a question in 1 month now. I guess I like to see how other people answer more so than to answer myself.
