the crawling feeling was mostlikely tiny hairs in your ear being released from ear wax. But anything that crawls in your ear will mostlikely be blocked by your ear drum.

Good question: I'm having the same thoughts too. A few nights ago, I found a HUGE spider on the wall, in the room I sleep in. Plus, I found several earwigs...a type of bug I think, just walking around the house. Not cool...therefore, I now sleep with ear plugs at night.

Insects or bugs can become trapped in the ear. Smaller insects, such as gnats, can become caught in the wax and be unable to fly out. They can often be washed out with warm water. Larger insects or bugs may not be able to turn around in the narrow canal. If the insect or bug is still alive, it can first be killed it by filling the ear with mineral oil. This will suffocate the insect. The ear should soon after be evaluated by a doctor to have the pest removed.

I had a moth fly into my ear canal whilst i became a new child and it got here out by using itself after a jiffy of fluttering around. Thank goodness using fact the sound became annoying. Ear wax or cerumen (scientific term) help in cleansing and lubricating the ear canal and can provide secure practices from micro organism, fungus, and bugs. i'm particular the wax might strengthen around an insect if it did no longer come out on its on inflicting it to come again out...ultimately.

If the bug makes its way to your brain, it can control your thoughts. Be careful.
