Well it's the world oldest profession you know. I think you have your facts incorrect. It's the liberals that want it out in the open and acceptable in society while at least conservatives want to leave it behind closed doors.

I don't know where you got that information. That doesn't make any sense that conservatives would want to legalize prostitution. Maybe Libertarians would, but they wouldn't approve taxing prostitution. So that doesn't sound right.

I think legalizing prostitution makes a lot of sense. It will bring in new revenue through taxes, plus the prostitutes will be checked for diseases which will reduce the spread of STDs and AIDS.
