I pray that they get whatever God thinks they deserve, but then I always add that if its what I think they deserve, too, that'd be cool.

it never helps praying, you might as well ask an ant to lift a mountain.

I pray for everyone. I know it sounds silly but I pray for me 1st then family then all the people I have came in contact with be it over the internet or while I was out. You never know what a person is going thur. Then at time people come to mind while I'm praying and I pray for them.If I am mad at someone I lay it at Jesus feet and walk away. So yeah I do that too.

I think it does help.

I don't like praying for evil things to happen to people.
And i don't like being mean or whatever.

So we're similar in that regard.

I pray that God gives them whatever they deserve. I also pray that they are guided. And i pray that God forgives them and help them not to make the same mistake again. And if they do make the mistake again, to not let it happen to me.

I never prayed for those I resent, only for those I really like (but God never sent them to me, so I took another course of action).

Yes. I had to literally grit my teeth when I used to pray for my ex-husband :), and it took longer than the couple of weeks that people said it would take, but eventually my resentment of him didn't have such a "grip" on me anymore, and I truly felt better. Today we are friends.

I have to pray for myself more than them, for God to forgive me for thinking the terrible things I think about them sometimes. And that's the honest truth.

I do. In fact, I have 4 people that I pray for as much as guidance for myself in dealing with them.
