People look at watches many times a day. They don't remember 13:47, for example, but they will remember 11:11, 10:10, 12:34 etc. I looked at my watch when it was 4:44 min and 44 seconds many times. Just a coincidence. Lucky me that I am not superstitious, otherwise I would be scared (I live in Taiwan where number 4 means "death"). At the same time, it is very possible what other people say about the tendency to look at the watch/clock at 11:11 because of the internal clock. Not a big deal, I think. Anyway, I don't think that anyone should worry about that. I would worry if I saw 24:01...

I had the 12:34 version of this for a long time - started bugging me so much that I kept snapping awake at 12:34 and looking at the clock.
Does anybody older recall ever having the same sort of thing happen on an analog clock?

I am pretty sure it must be someone or something from the other side triing to communicate, I really am not sure. I always tune into the clock when it is 1:11 or 2:22 or 3:33 you catch my drift I always see the same digits it is sort of weird, but it must have to be a subconscience thing. If you find out let me know!

I have a friend who says he keeps seeing 12:34. I think it probably happens a couple of times by chance, and from then on you are sensitized to it, so that every time you look and it's that time, you notice it. If you pay close attention, you will find that you look at the clock when it is all kinds of different times, but you just don't remember those times.

I can't believe that you asked this because I was going to ask the same thing....I constantly see 11:11 or numerals randomly like 1111. My sister sees the same thing. I hope you get some answers!
Even after a power outage, most digital clocks automatically reset to 12:00- not mine, less than 5 minutes after the power comes back on mine say 11:11- odd?

Could it have something to do with a vision problem, namely astigmatism, in which vertical lines are much better focused than horizontal lines? So the easiest digital time to see (especially if the clock were far away) would be 11:11.

I answered this before in another post, but I will share again.
According to this strange website: http://1111spiritguardians.com/...
"These 11:11 Wake-Up Calls on your digital clocks, mobile phones, VCR’s and microwaves are the "trademark" prompts of a group of just 1,111 fun-loving Spirit Guardians, or Angels. Once they have your attention, they will use other digits, like 12:34, or 2:22 to remind you of their presence. Invisible to our eyes, they are very real."
Read more... it's quite amusing
OR, I think it means something about someone thinking about you

Simply a fixation, like when you happen to see a streetlight go out just as you are passing by,it seems like it happens all the time. You just don't notice all the other times when it doesn't..Me I seem to get stuck with a lot more Mondays..

strange, i always notice 12:34 (and 1:23) aswell.
it bugs me alot. i'm not superstitious but i get a bad feeling when i notice that time.
maybe its cause we are used to seeing those numbers in that order, hmm but that doesnt explain 11:11
