When a man is being "sweet" he is in his "female mode" so to speak. Not only does he compromise his normal way of thinking, sometimes comes across as being unconfident in what's going on and many will even become slouchy and lose their stong manly composure. Often it comes across as gay. It's honestly a very big turn off to me!!!!
When a man is romantic however, he remains just as stong mentally and physically as before and gives off a certain sense of confindence. When a man is romantic, he's able to fullfill the mental and emotional desires of a woman while never compromising the very manly things she finds most attractive about him.
Through romance a man shows his deep desire for a woman, being sweet is more like having a puppy lick you in the face, it's cute for a second.. but......
