A lot of overweight women say theyre voluptuous. Can someone please tell me the difference? This is an honest question,no silly answers

Absolutely not!
Voluptuous means the girl is well proportioned in the normal sense of the word.
I would guess that "a lot of overweight women" are abusing the English language.

Voluptuous=built like a brick ****house. All the curves in just the right places without excess "padding".

not really because a fabric can be voluptuous and that isnt fat it is just flowy and has a lot of curves.

Volutious is not fat. Voluptious is say Marilyn Monroe, a larger figuire (say size 14-16) with a beautiful figuire.
Larger women like to claim this.

It is definately not the same. To be voluptiuos, you have curves. Think Jennifer Lopez or Queen Latifah. To be fat, means you have rolls, think Star Jones before she got lipo.

"Voluptuous" is more "pleasingly plump"...a few extra pounds, but not enough to make you look too bad. A lot of fat women claim to be "voluptuous" because it has more pleasant connotations...but they're really fat.

i see voluptious as curvy. meaning theres breast then it swerves in for the waist then back out for the hips. while some women are just like... O... like that shaped. not to sound judgemental but if thats what you are why be ashamed

voluptuous means very large breasts. you can be skinny and be voluptuous.
