I met and actually worked with Jeff Healey *before* he became famous. Months later I went to the same school as he did, but he left after about six weeks.

I've since met lots of sci-fi actors at conventions. Of these, the one with whom I had an experience that I will not live down is Nana Visitor. I took an overnight bus to Rochester, New York to see her at a Star Trek convention, and I got to the hotel at about 4 AM, where I rendezvoused with some friends. In my red Bajoran uniform (the same color as the one she wore on DS9 as Major Kira), I went to the front desk to check in (my friends had booked two rooms), and in the lineup in front of me was a dark-haired woman. It wasn't until I saw Nana during the autographs that she told me *she* had been the woman in the lineup! She'd been right in front of me and I hadn't recognized her! She'd obviously remembered me because it's not often that you see a Bajoran checking into a hotel.

I've met the country singer Rodney Atkins. He was really down to earth and even a little bit shy. Which you really don't see in many celebrities. And he was cute too:-)

I met Matt Damon Thankgiving 2004 in Andover, Massachusetts. I'm from Andover myself and Damon's family ( his dad, uncles and grandmother) all live here in Andover so he visits every once in a while.
His uncle lives just accross the street and I've seen him there a few times.

I was on a plane from Narita Japan to L.A. (Thai Airways) and was sitting right across from Mr. Matrix himself! Keannu Reeves is a very down to earth, fun-loving guy and so are his "entourage".
