i think its really hard to compare cause nowadays the SFX is way better than last time. We all love the classic superman i noe but give brandon routh some credit. Imagine how much pressure he has to face when he got the role as superman. He has to be the character that was idolized all over the world and still is. He had to make sure he live up to the name of superman and in my opinion i think he did a great job.

Christopher Reeves was awesome, but Brandon Routh also looks and definitely sounds a lot like him.

Routh is like wood when acting,so Reeves is the better Superman.

No way. He is a great Superman and FAR better than Dean Cain's awful portrayal in the television series but no one can beat the wonderful Christopher Reeve. Ever.

Christopher Reeve was a GOOD a GREAT SuperMan for his time.... and almost all of us know the characeter and is familiar to him... And now the Superman for this time is the one of Brandon Routh's.... he is AWESOME playing that superhero and for sure all men that interpreted SUPERMAN would be proud! so SUPERMAN IS SUPERMAN no cares who is in his pants all men fit excelent. They know how to chose.
P.S but Brandon is the one that looks better in that costume
