If you are looking for good phones, excellent customer service and great price you should go with Cingular. As far as it being the one with the fewest dropped calls that is true.

Most companies now offer free phones and no activation fees. Look around for a deal around your area. T-mobile has excellent customer service over the phone. I used to have Cingular but it became troublesome when it merged with AT&T.

T-mobile and cingular has more phone options, but their network sucks...no matter what their commercials say. Verizon has been proven to have the best network (and my experience bears this out...whenever I am out with friends, their cingular and t-mobile phones cannot get a call out, while I have no trouble)
Go with Verizon.
