Okay this is pretty twisted- My boyfriend's ex girlfriend recently got married a couple of months ago. Turns out the Ex and our good friend's "soon to be wife" are related! The wedding is coming up Sept 23rd. I want to attend but I don't want to see the ex girlfreind if you know what I mean. From what my bf told me- their break up was and still is very bitter. Any advice? Thanks

Take the high road. Go to the wedding.. your friend invited you, and clearly wants you there. Go and show your support for your friend, and if things get uncomfortable, bail out early. But I'd say definitely go. As long as you and your boyfriend act civil to her at the reception, you'll be fine. Don't let her ruin your chance of sharing a happy day with your friend. She shouldn't have that power over you.

Hey Roxylee. Let me just say that you are an exotic and rare beauty (just like me LOL). Okay, here's what you do. Go to the wedding, and if you run into the ex be diplomatic, speak and go about your merry way. If she has backhanded comments, she will look like the ignorant one, not you. Don't put your life on hold for this hobag. And besides, women are so catty, make sure none of them are trying to step to your man. Then they will get beatdown by you, and you don't want to mess up that pretty face. So, go and have a good time!

Try and put the ex out of the picture and support your good friend. It'll be hard, so there's no way around this, but do this for your friend and hopefully your bf will remain mature, and cool about this matter. Remember he is with you, and what the ex gf had, is past tense.

Conduct yourself as a lady of class and grace, stand by your man at this most important occasion. Dismiss any insecurities or doubts. Push through like the goddess you are...

I kinda had the same issue..... I felt better not avoiding the event and even better being able to persevere on the other side..

Good Luck
