The area of a circle can be found by multiplying the number pie times the square of the radius. If the radius of the circle is r, write an expression that represents the area of a cirlcle.

pay attention and read carefully :).

A = area
pi = pi
r = radius

A = pi * (r^2)

any variation of that would be correct: A = r^2 pi

I think it is pie r squared. Since the radius is r there is no number needed for the radius
