I have a young rbv growing in shade under an oak and elm tree. It doesn't get much sun. Would it be healthier growing in full sun?

Also, suggestions on what other small trees will do well in shade in Texas would be appreciated.

I can give you a lot of helpful info about plants great for texas, including your viburnum. I work at Lowes as a Live Nursury Specialist. However, I need to know where in Texas you live. Its a very big state so there are different zones to consider as well as drought conditions which is the biggest problem by far in areas in and around the Dallas area, which is where I'm from.
