I lift monday-thursday morning for football. Friday is varsity so it is closed that morning, also closed weekends. If i have a JV game on monday or tuesday and i lift the morning of the game i heard it affects your playing ability because your muscles are tired out is this so or does it help your game.

It's not just that your muscles are "tired out", they're broke down and repairing.

This takes energy and time.

With my players...if we have a game on Saturday, Thursday is the last weight training and we go to muscle failure. Friday is off.

If you go light, it can be a great warmup. But you do run the risk of tiring yourself out. You want to be in peak condition for your game, so I'd hold off. Use that time for some cardio; go for a jog for a mile or two that morning.

I notised as quickly as I play basketball that my muscle tissues are drained if I raise weights interior the morning and then play a game later. See the form you experience once you raise weights and in case you dont. it easily relies upon on you!

Yes, your muscles are tired. you should get atleast one days rest. It definetly does not help your game. Eat a lot of carbs the night before because carbs unlike protein are stored in your body until you use them so you'll have a lot of energy for the game.

how old are you? when you are younger you have an ability to recover faster. but just the same, i would never workout the day of a game.

when you work out and exercise, you should be pushing yourself to your limits, so there is no way you should be recovered by the end of the school day by game time.
