The doctor said tying means can be untied and pregnant again. He also said burning, like I had done means permanent. So I don't understand how a woman who gets a permanent (burning)gets pregnant. It better not be possible!!!

A friend of mine had her tubes tied and her tubes burned 3 times each. She conceived and had a healthy baby boy at 39 1/2 weeks. She then found out she was pregnant, but she m/c because it was just too early after her son was born (4 weeks). So it's never impossible.

It's pretty much 100%. There's no going back once it's done. Now if you are interested in having a baby after a tubal you can always go through IVF and possibly have one that way. It's really expensive though.

yes its not reversable. because of the simple fact that the tubes are cut and burned and tied, so therefore it can not be untied.and if it was to be untied it couldnt be sewed back together because the ends are burned.
