There could be an access of iron in his system. It doesn't dissolve and the access could be eliminated thru the urine.

He probably has some ammonia in his urine. To get rid of the smell all he have to do is drink plenty of water.

if he drinks.....alcohol or whatever....that could be it but i dont know...
just saying because of the x men movie....got that one guy drunk.....having iron in his blood...not physical iron of course
