if im 18 and i run away will the police try and find me?

If your parents report you missing then I imagine that the police would try and help find you. But if you left a note telling your parents that you were leaving and reasons why I doubt the police would spend time looking for a person your age. As far as being able to sue your parents I really don't know. I would guess that a lot of it would have to do with where you live and the laws that govern that country. It's a shame that you feel that you need to run away and cannot just speak with your parents about what it is that is bothering you. Communication, yes even with parents, is the number one thing in any relationship. Good luck to you

No. If you are 18 you are legally an adult so the police wont look for you as a runaway, but your parents may file a missing persons report after you've been gone 24 hours. You can sue your parents or anyone else in the U.S. but it depends on what you are suing for. Why run away? You are old enough to walk out the front door. Make sure it is something that you really want to do. There are a lot of dangers out there. IF your not ready WAIT til you become ready, meaning once you leave you wont have to come back or ask for assistance financially or otherwise. This may be hard being only 18, but it is possible.

If you are 18, you can't run away. You can only leave your house and go somewhere else. You can sue anyone you wish. Whether you have grounds to sue your parents is a different story. The best outcome for a civil suit would be based upon them having been found guilty of a crime against you. Get an attorney if you think you want to sue your parents.

The police won't bother you,unless you get in trouble. Before you do anything else I would suggest you grow-up. Put on your big girl pants and deal with it.

Yes they will find you and worry about you , so my suggestion is that you can enter to the school and learn something like that .
