Almost all power steering fluid that you buy at car part stores is accredited and it should say so on the bottle.

Most American cars take the same Powers Steering fluid, and I'm sure yours is standard. The only ones I can think of that would take a different kind are a lot of European cars. So I'm pretty sure its just standard PS fluid.

the power steering fluid that you buy off the shelf at any atuo parts store will be fine to use , transmission fluid used to be a replacement for the power steering fluid, but on the newer models it will swell the seals

it jsut takes normal power steering fluid. Fords, Hondas and chryslers take either type F, dexron and Honda takes a dealer only fluid. Just go to your nearest parts store and tell them what year and make car you have and they will point youn in the right direction

Just like engine oil, there are different grades of power steering fluid. If you have one, check your owner's manual. If not, try to find the stickers located on the driver's door near the latch assembly, it contains info like tire size, oil weight to be used, tire pressure, etc. If not there, call Autozone, Pep Boys, etc., they have a database of such things.

They mean just normal power steering fluid. Some people use hydraulic oil or tranny fluid or any thin oil.
