2 * (3/2) - 2/3 * 1/2 = 3 - 1/3 = 8/3
remember when you divide by a number, you can multiply by the reciprocal.
so something like: 2/(2/3) is the same as 2 * (3/2)

(1 / x) / (1 / x)
Is the same as:
(1 / x) * (x / 1)
So...
2 / (2 / 3) = 2 * (3 / 2) = 3
(2 / 3) / 2 = (2 / 3) * (1 / 2) = 1 / 3
3 - (1 / 3) = 2 + (2 / 3)

1st bracket 2/(2/3) = 2*(3/2) = 6/2 = 3
2nd bracket (2/3)/2 = (2/3)*)1/2) = 2/6 = 1/3
3-1/3 = 2 2/3

Reduce it & stick in some decimals, if they'll help clarity -
(2/(2/3))-((2/3)/2)
2/0.66 - 0.66/2
3 - 0.33
2.67 - approximately
