The only thing that I know that is conistantly effective on urine and other bad smells is 'Nilium' an amazing product that uses an enzyme to nuetralize the fowlest embedded oders. It smells like bubble-gum. We pay over $125.00 a gallon, but it only requires 2 - 1/2 ounces in a quart of water to make up a spray-bottle that will solve your problems. It is even more expensive online. Ask your local janitors supply house. If you know an experienced building maintenance proffessional, he might hook you up.

Have you tried shaving cream?
The brand, price don' t matter.
Spray it on the stained or smelly spot/area.
Let it sit 15 minutes (longer doesn't help or hurt).
Remove excess foam with something like a spatula.
Rub the remaining layer (vigorously) into the carpet with a wet utility brush. Stain and/or smell should be gone.

Good luck! Try cleaning them with white vinegar, sometimes that works on cat urine. The pet stores also sell quite a few brands of products that are supposed to work, but so far I haven't found one that does.

Use Club Soda to wash away the urine.
Keep the puppy in the yard or else it will use that carpet as its personal toilet for ever.

3% hydrogen peroxide. Pour it on and let it dry. I also suggest investing in the Bissel spotbot. It's amazing.
