Ok, since I missed the Rap question I thought i'd ask my question.
Rock/heavy metal all the same to me, just a bunch of noise!!
Rock gives me a headache, I do NOT want someone who's trying to send me a message through song and yelling at me while doing it.
I do not want to watch someone jump around stage hittin they head up against stuff about to give themselves a concussion and lookin like they about to have a seasure.
I do NOT want someone urinating on me while I watch them in concert.
Wait, I guess that is why they jump up and down 'cause you cannot dance to Rock!

Rap artist aren't the ONLY artists that sample music. Sampling music is a good thing. There are songs I listened to back then and when I hear it revamped sometimes I like it better. Nothing wrong with it all artist do it except for rock artists 'cause there's no meaning behind most of it. I could get a guitar today and play rock music without every playing it a day in my life!

What - no urine? How can you expect to enjoy a concert without being urinated upon by the band? LOL! (Okay, please tell me you're kidding about the urine thing...)
Fortunately there's a music style for just about everyone. I'm not enthralled with rock but there are some songs/groups I like and others I don't. Some groups can put out one song that is great, and then nothing but garbage aside from that (and don't you just hate it when you spend $15 on a CD because of one great song only to find that the rest of the album stinks?) I like a lot of different styles including some classic rock, alternative, country-western, Americana, folk, celtic, new age, classical, rave, pop, and music from many different cultures around the world - Africa, China, Europe, Russia, Japan, India, Arabia & the Middle East, it's all good.

no you idiot. Rock is more of feelings. Rap and hip pop of today is the same. Things became very stupid especially the one with vans and sneaker and Miss New Booty. Pop punk and emo is what sucks the life out of rock. Heavy metal and classic rock is great stuff and that's another reason about why its called heavy metal. Louder Than Anything Else! So excuse me while I go listen to some NWA and AC/DC with Guns N Roses. Dumb*ss

Not every single genre of rock involves screaming and weird noises. If you don't like headbanging, DON'T DO IT. Not all frontmen urinate on fans and if they do, it's because the people like it. Yes, you can dance to rock, you just have to find the right song. There are many types of "rock" and they are not all the same. Emo is a part of rock and it has no screaming at all. Metal also has many subgenres (Alt Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Funk Metal, Grindcore, New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Pop Metal, Progressive Metal, Rapcore, Stoner Rock and Thrash/Speed) yet it is still part of the "Rock" categorie, just like Emo. If you don't like it, don't listen to it and respect those who appreciate it.

You know what I don't like.
Some rap artist stealing a four second sample from a disco song from the seventies, and he rambles incessantly, constantly in slang, talking about how he has all the money, all the cars, and all the women love him....while the same four seconds of music repeats for four to five minutes and is now "his music"
Then they say he's an artist.

No love that loud guitar sound. But rap does make me sick. Every lyric is about how bad they are and who there going to rob or screw

they rly suck
