Some greed is good. You have to make yourself happy before you can ever help anyone else to be happy. And of course, raking your mother over the coals for a dollar is just plain bad.

not inherently bad - that's how evolution/societies run - all species/groups tend to try to grab resources/consume/grow as best possible.
if humans weren't this way some other species would take over
one could say that a universe that gives benefit to those who are best at being greedy isn't optimal
also could say that greed is a tool, good if used correctly (creating new things for people to use but you get a profit) or bad (too many examples to bother with)

Greed is bad. The difficulty is in identifying what is greed.

Greed is bad. It may seem to benefit the one that's greedy but in the long run....its terrible!

Depends on what you define Greed as: as the word is usually associated with a negative influence it is generally considered "Bad".

Greed is a great motivator, but when it interferes with personal and professional relationships, and you don't care who you hurt, it's very bad.

It depends. If you're greedy but dont harm anyone, I think it's ok. Greed is good for ambition

varies... the greedy person in general is never satisfied with what they already have or have taken.....so even for the greedy person it is not good except maybe for a very short time before they think of getting more things.... well you have to decide if being selfish is greedy as well... it can be "good" in certain personal situations but once it takes something away from another who otherwise would have it by not having taking it themselves maybe you can think of it as "bad"... neither one or the other
