I've been making clothes for over a year, and I have recently been getting requests from friends. I'm thinking of selling my clothes, but I'd like to know what people like to see on shirts. Designs? Phrases? Logos?

You mean "sew." Sow means planting seeds or an adult female pig. Just look at the designs on other shirts to get ideas then come up with your own. Maybe you could put your designs on paper and see which ones get the best response. If you are really good maybe you could start an online business. Try selling some of your clothes on eBay. Also, take requests. Someone might want a special design on there clothes, like the logo of their band or something that holds a special meaning to them.

You know what kind of item you should make. A slimming one. I saw a shirt somewhere once that really caught my eye. It was a normal sweater or like a kind of knit shirt that had big circles on the sides. So you saw a half a circle on each side and then half a circle on each side in the back. It basically made a kind of hourglass shape without the wearer actually having to have one. I think on a shirt that was really cool, you could also do that for a swimming suit. Like one of those suits that has the top, then there is fabric that goes down the middle and attaches to the bottoms, but the sides are all open. Only instead of being open, they have fabric, but that shape again would be there. Like go black with white circles or vice versa.

I have a few ideas:

1. anything with tires or a skirt means trouble (written next to a bike and a sexy chic wearing a skirt)

2. (for a girl's shirt) If you love your life as much as i love my boyfriend, then don't touch me.

3. (for a flying school advertisement on a shirt) It used to be that flying was dangerous and sex was safe, but now is the other way around.

Or maybe a small dead rodent! wouldn't a severed hampster head be cute?
Or how about a logo of burning houses!? Those would be awesome!!

How about for us country folks a nice photo of a calf? And you could also do a sow, a horse, or a duck. We like to sew many items on our dungarees, too.
