Is there a way to remove iron on patches without hurting the clothes there on?

You might try lighter fluid on the place where you removed the patch, dont worry the lighter fluid will wash right out.... It`s kinda like drycleaning solution. You can buy lighter fluid at Wal-Mart cheap.

reheat the patch with an iron and it shouild come off easily

same way you put them on - press them with an iron to soften the glue, as far as getting rid of the glue residue, well, I just don't know... May have to take them to a dry cleaner
