A studio apartment is and apartment without any bedrooms. It is usually one large room, with the kitchen on one wall, etc. The bathroom is however, separate. 425 square ft. is roughly a 20ft. by 20 ft. room, or equivalent such as 10 ft by 30 ft, or 15 ft by 25 ft. etc. The extra footage would be the bathroom.

My kids had studio apartments in college. It means one room. The kitchen, bedroom and living room is all one small room. The bathroom is separate though. This is ok for one person to live in.

I have seen studios larger that Murray says, but basically I lived in one that had a separate small kitchen, small bath, and large living room that also was a bedroom.

a studio appartment is an appartment made for only one person,, usually for students who live on their own without a roommate and mostly needed when goin to college university ( living on ur own) it's like one big room that has a washroom living room and bedroom together and a kitchen all open together

It means that it has no bedroom, I think. You have a daybed that doubles as a couch in the multi-purpose room.
